Systems for using precipitation in non-residential buildings are similar to systems in homes, in terms of their elements. The amount of water saved can be significantly higher in offices, since most of the water used in offices is for flushing toilets. Since in most cases the volume of precipitation used will exceed the available supply, the precipitation system will contribute considerably to precipitation buffering and so to peak retention. The dimensions of the reservoir can be suited to fit the amount of precipitation available.
