Adopting areas under trees and small plots of green

In many municipalities the area under street trees is not always well-maintained. This offers opportunities for local residents. By planting vegetation under the tree, the soil structure will improve and the tree will get more water. An attractive flower bed will enhance the street. Every unpaved and planted plot of ground contributes to biodiversity, improves water management and limits warming.
There are paved plots of ground all over cities. These can also be planted and used by local residents. Many municipalities have developed policy for this and encourage it.
