Increasing temperatures are a result of climate change. Mediterranean vegetation is better equipped to flourish during warm and dry periods. Examples of Mediterranean vegetation are oleanders, olive trees and lavender. When choosing plants, it must be taken into account that frost still exists in the Netherlands. Plants must be able to withstand this.
